Every story has a beginning and Oh Jeremiah's begins in Mississippi. Not only did Jeremiah and Erin Stricklin meet and fall in love in the Magnolia State, but the two also formed the band inside the halls of their Alma Mater: University of Southern Mississippi. Jeremiah was born and raised in the Land of the Yellow Pines, a little further north in Laurel. It's that very same town that inspired the band's third album, Jones County Ghosts. Each song is a chapter in the life of a boy in a small Mississippi town; whether it be the civil war hero he grew up next to, the HGTV show that changed his home forever, or the alligator in his backyard his dad keeps referring to as his little brother.
