Spend The Evening On The Moon For An Acoustic Dinner Show with Country Music Singer Songwriter And Former Front-man Of The Hit 90's Country Band PERFECT STRANGER Formed In Texas! Stories, Original Songs and Acoustic Covers!
From Chris Bevill of Bevill Music : When I was just a kid growing up in the 90's just 4 miles East of The Massive Building Folks Called The Honky Tonk, Dance Hall and Beer Joint Named East Fork. I remember seeing Perfect Stranger On Them Old Yellow Road Signs on my way to school the week of the shows. One day their hit song was on the radio as we passed the venue. Come that Saturday Night The Parking Lot Was Packed And Visions Of A Shiny Silver Eagle Tour Bus Parked Under An Old Street Light Near The Building Was Etched in my memory with thoughts of man I wonder what they are doing in there. Fast Forward A Few Years of hearing the band on local radio and more glimpses of that bus at East Fork, I finally got to attend my first ever live concert with none other than Perfect Stranger Headlining a street dance in Downtown Grand Saline after a rodeo we had went to. Ill never forget the impression of all that lead up to seeing someone famous. Decades later owning and selling the venue and after always covering their hit song when I performed at the Old East Fork with my band back in the day. Here we are. We got Steve to come back. While the band don't exist anymore and country music aint anywhere close to what it was in them days I can assure you when the hits are performed you will definitely recall them early days from way back when.
"You Have the Right to Remain Silent" is a song written by Brenda and Cal Sweat, and originally recorded by Les Taylor on his 1991 album Blue Kentucky Wind, under the title "For the Rest of Your Life". The song was later recorded by American country music group Perfect Stranger and released in February 1995 off of the independent label, Pacific Records, before the group signed to Curb Records and re-released it in May 1995 as the second single and title track from their album You Have the Right to Remain Silent. The song was their only Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, reaching number 4 in August 1995.[1] It was also their only entry on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 61.[1]
