Experience the magic of the Great Plains Art and Music Festival, a vibrant celebration set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sesquicentennial Point Park, overlooking Clinton Lake and the Wakarusa River Valley. Sponsored by Guitarma for their fifth anniversary celebration and eXplore Lawrence: Unmistakably Lawrence, this year's festival promises an unforgettable day filled with art, music, food, bounce houses, and fun for the entire family! Enjoy craft brews by Willcott Brewing Company and select Kansas wines.

The festival kicks off with soulful acoustic performances and rich alternative songwriting, followed by high-energy pop. The afternoon features an eclectic mix of experimental fusion, avant-garde bluegrass, and indie rock. As the sun sets, Guitarma's headlining set transitions into an electrifying music extravaganza with post-hardcore and punk rock, then shifts to hip-hop and electronic music to keep you dancing and having a good time. Camping is available right next door at Clinton Lake State Park, with water and electric hookups and a shower house, making it easy to enjoy the festival to the fullest.

- 11 AM - 4 PM: Free public entry and parking.
- Post-4 PM: Transition to a lively music festival (Advance Tickets $20 general admission, $40 VIP, $25/$50 day of show)
- Festival Ends: 11:30 PM

- Bounce Houses and Obstacle Course: Provided by KC Fun Squad, featuring 6-8 bounce houses, including a toddler-only house and water slides (bring your swimsuit!). The bounce houses and water slides will stay up for the night-time guests! Inflatable games like basketball, archery, axe throwing, soccer, Connect Four, and Giant Jenga, plus a 60' obstacle course. Festival Attractions:
- Art and Handmade Vendor Fair: Explore 65 artist and unique handmade vendor booths.
- Baked Goods: Vendors selling everything from pickles and honey to brownies, cakes, muffins, and more.
- Live Music: Enjoy a diverse range of live music throughout the day and into the night, featuring every genre from singer-songwriter and metal to rock 'n' roll, rap, electronic music, DJs, multi-genre vocalists, and avant-garde bluegrass. - Camping, Boating, and Recreation: Just across the road, Clinton State Park offers RV and tent camping, cabins, boating, and more, with reserved spots that include running water, electricity, and shower houses (reserveamerica.com). Nearby, Clinton Marina provides options for renting a pontoon boat or a slip for the day. For golf enthusiasts, Eagle Bend Golf Course is also nearby for a round of golf. Mutt Run Dog Off Leash Park is also next-door. Note: No dogs allowed on festival grounds.

- Downtown Lawrence: Features an amazing array of boutiques, shops, and restaurants, offering premier shopping with a small-town feel in a classic historic setting.

Important Information:
- No Cash: No cash will be accepted at the gate or at the alcohol vendor. Attendees can pay with Venmo or Card.
- Ticket Purchases: Tickets to the paid portion of the event can be purchased online on our website in advance or on the day of the show at the entrance with cards only no cash..
- What to Bring: Attendees should bring a camping chair and comfortable shoes. A complete list of what you can and cannot bring is provided below.
- Evening Portion: The evening portion of the event is not suitable for kids but they are allowed. See the festival lineup in the menu of this website to get a feel for the bands' styles of music.

Ticket Information:
- Free Entry: From 11 AM to 4 PM.
- Paid Entry: After 4 PM, tickets cost $20 in advance ($25 on the day of the event) and $40 for VIP tickets in advance ($50 on the day of the event).
- VIP Perks: VIP tickets include access to the VIP tent, reserved seating area and a festival-themed T-shirt.

Prepare for a Thrilling Day of Music at the Festival!

The festival kicks off with Marilyn Brie's soulful acoustic performance, followed by Winters and Wallace, who will enchant with their rich, interactive alternative songwriting. Pauly Kidd brings high-energy hip-hop and R&B, joined by hype man Fat Phil for an interactive dance-filled experience. Next, 3LADE delivers high-energy pop with infectious melodies, creating unforgettable moments.

Spectrum will captivate with their experimental fusion of rock, blues, jazz, and modern hip-hop. Reagan Zagan follows with her avant-garde bluegrass and alternative Americana, showcasing dynamic banjo skills and emotive vocals. Michael Maher offers deep, emotional performances blending soulful melodies with rock and ballads, providing an intimate experience. Lonnie Fisher brings an eclectic mix of roots, rock, goth, punk, and indie pop with evocative lyrics.

JonTomKnuff will guide you through a profound journey of evocative poetry, while Elysium Nights fuses hip-hop and indie pop with soulful vocals and infectious beats. Alan Wayne the Praday and Zee Underground will deliver their TBD set, followed by Chu-Cho (Duron Ortega), who blends DIY box mix and talkbox with traditional hip-hop for a unique, high-energy performance. The Stacys close the afternoon with an electrifying mix of blues, grunge, and psychedelic rock.

Special Headlining Set:
As evening falls, the festival transitions into a special headlining set sponsored by Guitarma, a locally-owned guitar-focused music store in downtown Lawrence, celebrating its fifth anniversary. Guitarma has curated an incredible lineup featuring the intense post-hardcore of Common Room, the raw punk rock of Red Kate, and the powerful punk rock sound of Second Chance. Guitarma's sponsorship brings these standout acts to the stage for an unforgettable performance, showcasing their commitment to supporting great music and the local community.

Evening Extravaganza:
The night continues with DJ Cynsere spinning legendary sets, followed by 93 & Alive, featuring ATM, Jade Haa, BLVCKLIGHT, and Flex The Drummer for an electrifying hip-hop experience. Botz&Bandz will deliver pulsating EDM beats, keeping the crowd in euphoria. Finally, DJ Savage Habits closes the festival with his high-energy trap set, ensuring the dance floor stays active until the very end.
